One of my favourite portraitist of all is Mary Ellen Mark an American portrait photographer. She photographed Hollywood actors mainly and often seen on movie sets taking still of main characters. But also she took “few” studio shots among them famous half-body studio portrait of Jeff Bridges when filming ” American heart”. I always wanted to recreate this shot but unfortunately Jeff Bridges never stopped by my place. Not to mention the studio. Or anything. Despite that fact I never gave up trying to duplicate her shot but only in my mind mainly (a way of the light falling on the object.) Then I decided to give it a shot anyway…
